Creator of Laravel
Now
I build Laravel. Most of my days go to the framework and the ecosystem around it — the tools and services that decide whether a day of programming feels good or not.
I stay close to the code, refining products and looking for simpler ways to solve familiar problems.
Investing
I invest in early companies, usually software, usually the kind I would want to use myself.
What I look for is hard to fake: founders who know exactly which problem they are solving, and who care how the thing feels in the hand.
